Obituary

Judith "Judi" Harrington, age 72, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022, due to complications of diabetes.  She was born on July 14, 1949, in New London, the daughter of the late Harmon C. and Gertrude D. Byrum.  Judi was united in marriage to Rod Harrington on October 18, 1975.  She worked for the RoadStar Inn in New London for many years, was a notary public, and was an in-home nurse.  She was a member and past president of the New London Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 45.  Judi was an avid reader, a WWII Historian, loved movies and all her dogs. She was an avid Brewers, Packers, and Badgers fan.  She was a highly intelligent, kind, and caring person.  Judi especially loved her Godchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is survived by her husband Rod; her siblings: Thomas Byrum (special friend, Patty), Linda (Bill) Kanaman, Wayne (Bonnie) Byrum, and Scott (Sue) Byrum; sisters-in-law, Kathy Pollak and Priscilla (Chris) Greiten, and brother-in-law Clay (Bev) Harrington, Her nephews, nieces, and Godchildren: Jay, Andy, and Alexis Kanaman, Isacc Kanaman, John Byrum and Josh Byrum, David Byrum, Kevin Byrum, Kristie Reed, Terry Byrum. Judi had a special place in her heart for relatives and friends in Hartwell Georgia, the home of her father. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Her parents and a Godchild nephew Kraig Kanaman preceded her in death.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 2-4 p.m.
