Judy's Funeral Service Video Link

Judy A. Krueger, age 75 of New London, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.  Judy was born in Green Bay, second oldest of ten children, to Wilfred and Glenda (Whiting) Monfils.  She graduated with the Class of 1969 from Green Bay East High School.  Judy married Lonnie Krueger in 1977.  She worked in housekeeping at a clinic in Green Bay.  Judy worked nights and cared for her family.  She volunteered at Paul's Pantry for many, many years as well.  Judy took great pride in having volunteered for more that 30 years.  Judy was a person of immense patience, who loved fishing.  She was content to fish – for hours and hours.....and hours.  Judy deeply loved her family, and sharing traditions with them.  Christmas Eve had to be celebrated at her house and no place else.  Each year, the children were treated to a candy Christmas tree.  Nothing was better than being completely surrounded by those she dearly loved.  Judy had a tenacious spirit and was a scrappy fighter.  After being told she had 6 months to live, she thrived for more that 12 years.  When the final battle was fought, she put everything in her Saviors hands.  Judy has been rewarded and is in paradise.

Judy is survived by her husband, Lonnie; children, Joseph (Janice) Steel, Jason (Sharon) Steel and Jodi Steel; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one on the way and her siblings, Wilfred Jr., Danny, Ronnie, Kathy, Roxanne, Becky, Barb, Brenda and Bonita.

Judy was preceded in death by her father and mother.

The Funeral Service for Judy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto.

The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to the staff at St. Joseph Residence in New London for the loving care and compassion they gave to Judy.
