Julie's Funeral Service Video

Julie L. Werner, age 47 of Shiocton, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 as a result of a motorcycle accident in 2019.  Julie was born on September 3, 1975 in New London to David Wenzel and Connie (Lee) Menting. Julie was united in marriage to Steve Werner on January 20, 1996 in the town of Ellington. She enjoyed traveling and time spent with family and friends.  Julie loved spending time outside in the summer.

Julie is survived by her husband, Steve; her parents, Dave (June) Wenzel and Connie (Lee) Menting; children, Austin Werner and Jacob (Kim) Werner; granddaughter, Oaklynn Werner and her siblings, Robert (Charlie) Wall and Dustin (Jill) Lentz.  She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Julie was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; and her mother and father-in-law.

The funeral service for Julie will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating.  Visitation will take place form 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
