June Marie Buchholz, age 60, of Hortonville, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2024. June was born on June 30, 1964, in Waupaca, to Lawrence and Dorothy Madson (Joe Nicholson). She spent her formative years in Manawa, where she raised her two sons on a dairy farm with her former husband, Todd Buchholz. June was devoted to her role as a mother and cherished her time as a grandmother to her five grandchildren.

In her younger years, June had a passion for woodworking and a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. Her warm and loving spirit will always be remembered by those who knew her.

June is survived by her son, Tanner (Lindsay) Buchholz; her siblings, Rick (Penny) Madson, Gloria (Tom) Mulroy, and Darlene (Kent) Sherman; and her beloved grandchildren, Brenlee, Reese, Lincoln, Everley, and Lennon Buchholz. She is also survived by her special friend, Dwayne Long, and numerous relatives and friends. The family extends special thanks to her caregivers: Dana, Pam, Amanda, and Debbie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, son Tyler, and brother Don.
