June Ferguson's Funeral Service Video
June L. (Bredesen) Ferguson, age 87 of Shiocton, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at her home. June was born on June 3, 1937 in Eau Claire to the late Leo and Mabel (Kees) Bredesen. June graduated from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN in 1959 with a degree in Theology. She married Bernard Ferguson on August 20, 1959. June was always active in Child Evangelism Fellowship with home Bible programs. It was her joy to teach children. In 1978, she graduated from LPN training and worked in Cincinnati, OH as a nurse. With her husband in pastoral service, June's ministry as a pastor's wife, gave many opportunities – hospitality was shown through the years to many visiting Bible conferences speakers and missionaries. Two favorite Bible verses among many are St. John 10:11 "Jesus said, I am the Good Shepherd, the Good Shepherd gives His life for His sheep." St. John 10:28, "And I gave unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." Just step on shore and find it, Heaven. Jesus said, Come unto Me……He is waiting to be your Savior. June had many blessings shown to her through the love of Jesus. Jesus gave her an abundant life. She is rejoicing in His presence today! June adored her grandchildren and her faith was strong.
June is survived by her husband, Bernard; children, David (Jill) Ferguson and Melody (Dave) Wiinamaki; grandchildren, Arianna, Marcella, Ian, Charith, Mercy, Stone and Zion and great-grandchildren, Brighton and Otto.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her daughter, Heidi Roy and sisters, Eileen Dunn, Marian Dunn, Bonnie Bundick and Verna Harms.
The Funeral Service for June will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Community Bible Church in Black Creek with Rev. Paul Franzmeier officiating. The visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Bovina.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Samaritan's Purse, PO BOX 3000, Boone, North Carolina 28607.
