Kathleen "Kathy"
Baker
July 14, 1942 – May 9, 2022
Kathleen A (Kathy) Baker, age 79 passed away peacefully on May 9 th , 2022 following a brief illness. Kathy was born in Springfield Massachusetts on July 14, 1942 to Alfred and Viola Ingoldsby. She graduated from Springfield High School in Springfield Massachusetts. She resided in Tennessee for a great deal of her life. Kathy eventually moved to Shiocton Wisconsin with her husband Donald L Baker where she lived on the Wolf River until her passing. It was the perfect place for her to enjoy all that nature offers including fishing and gardening. She took great pleasure and pride in caring for God's creatures including birds, bunnies, raccoons, squirrels and kittens. Kathy enjoyed the fruits of her labor with her many flower beds, grapevines, and fruit trees, never missing an opportunity to share with friends and neighbors.
When she couldn't be enjoying the outdoors, Kathy enjoyed doing puzzles and reading books. Kathy liked to share wildly interesting stories of "The Good Old Days" and from her memories, we know that she indeed lived a life full of adventure. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Donald Baker and is survived by her sister Lynn Schwartz of Dracut, Massachusetts. She is further survived by treasured neighbor and friend John Neumann and other close friends and neighbors.
As Laurel Thatcher Ulrich once said. "Well behaved women rarely make history" Thanks for going down in our history book Kat.
You are loved.
A Celebration for life for Kathy will be planned for a later date.
