Kathleen Bodoh, age 96 of Northport, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1927 in Northport to Frank and Hilda (Stewert) Pogorelski.  Kathleen graduated from Washington High School in 1945.  On October 18, 1950, she married Leon Bodoh at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lebanon.  Leon and Kathleen made their home in Northport – kitty corner to the house that she was born and raised in.  Kathleen worked at Simmons Juvenile Products until the birth of her second son; then returned after the children were grown.  She was involved in many organizations over the years, including Northport Homemakers, St. Patrick's Altar Society and was a poll worker for the township of Mukwa for over 50 years.  Mom was a good cook and baker.  There was never a shortage of cookies, especially at Christmastime. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.  Her family meant the world to her.  She was either raising kids or taking care of someone else.

Kathleen is survived by her four children and their spouses, James (Michelle), Pagosa Springs, CO, Michael (Ellen), New London, Margaret (Lawrence) Fietzer, New London and Mary (Mark) Bodoh-Stone, Eau Claire; grandchildren, Jaime (Tedd) Poulan, Rutherford, NJ, Mallory (Jesse) Pischlar, Lino Lakes, MN, Cora Fietzer (partner, Andrew Clabots), Wausau, Katie, Rachel and Sam Stone, Minneapolis, MN; great-grandchildren, River and Leni Poulan and Chloe and Vivienne Pischlar.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; father and mother-in-law, James and Louise Bodoh; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah (Leon) Hall; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lloyd (Dorothy) Bodoh and brother-in-law, James Bodoh.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Kathleen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lebanon with Fr. John Kleinschmidt officiating.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Joseph Residence and Compassus Hospice for the patience and care given to mom for the last few months.
