Kathleen Steinbach's Funeral Service Video

Kathleen E. Steinbach, age 64, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023.  She was born on August 5, 1958, the daughter of Hank and Marilyn (Muthig) Verbockel in Kaukauna. On September 4, 1993, she was united in marriage to Roger Steinbach in Mountain.  He preceded her in death in 2011.  Kathy began her job as a dispatcher for Badger Highways Company at the age of 18, where she worked for over 30 years.  She enjoyed 4-wheeling and was very active in the 4-wheeling clubs.  She was treasurer for Woodland Trails, and on the Board of Directors for Hidden Bear ATV Club and Trail Patrol, along with her husband Roger.

Kathleen is survived by her sons, Lucas (Heather) Steinbach and Jason Steinbach; her mother Marilyn Verbockel; sister Susan Lund; brothers Henry Jr. (Gail) Verbockel, Larry (Robin) Verbockel, and Robert (Alana) Verbockel; a granddaughter Bella Steinbach.  She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roger; father Henry Verbockel Sr. and grandparents.

The family would like to thank the staff at Appleton Medical Center and Rennes Health & Rehab Center for the care they gave Kathy.

Funeral services for Kathleen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Shiocton, with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service.  Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
