Kathy L. Kelly, age 67 of New London, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Monarch Meadows Memory Care within St. Joseph Residence, after struggling for several years with Frontotemporal dementia. Kathy was born on December 9, 1957 in New London to Vernon and Lucille (Kalbus) Drath. She married Kevin Kelly on September 10, 1988 in Black Creek. Kathy was a lifelong member at Emanuel Lutheran Church and was an avid volunteer at Friends of the New London Public Library. She enjoyed hosting all the family gatherings. Kathy had a warm welcome for everyone that came to her house and made sure they were well fed. Some of Kathy's other hobbies included gardening and reading.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Kevin; children, Nancy Heuer-Galica and Anthony (Jennifer) Heuer; her mother, Lucille Drath; her grandchildren, Zach Karst, McKenzie (Adam) Ahrenholtz, Johnathan Heuer, Riley Heuer, Brandon Heuer and Koen Galica; and her siblings, Karen (Roger) Dorn and David (Mary) Drath.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Drath and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Service for Kathy will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. Marcus Schulz officiating. The visitation will take place from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery, New London.
