Kenneth Robert Pagel, age 95 of New London, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Living Tree Estates in Greenville. Kenneth was born on July 27, 1929 in Weyauwega to the late Arthur and Lillian Pagel.  He served his country faithfully in the US Army.  He married Mary Leach on September 12, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah and they celebrated 69 years together!  She preceded him in death in 2023. Ken worked as meat cutter his whole life along with multiple other jobs to provide for his family.  Ken loved his family with his whole heart and always called to check in on them.  The family cabin on White Eye Lake in Crandon was his pride and joy.  He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting camp in Iola. Ken was a jokester and loved playing cards, especially Sheepshead.

Ken is survived by his children, Thomas (Debbie) Pagel, Daniel Pagel, Laurie Pagel and Douglas (Karen) Pagel; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; his sister, Geraldine Hase and sister-in-law, Marilyn.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ken was preceded in death by his oldest son, Michael Pagel; daughter-in-law, Lisa Pagel; sister, Virginia; brothers-in-law, Harry and Bob and brother, Robert Pagel.

Per Ken's wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held with military honors.
