Keith Allen
Wiechert
Mar 27, 1955 — Jun 26, 2026
Keith Allen Wiechert, 71, of Wild Rose, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 26th, 2026.
He was born on March 27th, 1955, as the youngest child of Laurence and Alice Wiechert in Wyandotte, Michigan.
Keith was known and loved by many, especially a group of lifelong friends and close family. He created many cherished childhood memories and some lifelong friendships around Buckeye Lake, Ohio, where he spent most of his childhood before moving to Oshkosh, Wisconsin as a young adult. In Oshkosh, he got married and had three children who grew up in their family home in town. He spent most of his career as an industrial electrician at Hoffmaster in Oshkosh and developed two small businesses of his own including a home electrical service and tree service. In his 40s, Keith built his dream home on 35 acres in the woods in Wild Rose where he found peace being surrounded by nature and where he spent the rest of his life.
Forever a free spirit who seemed to be guided by the wind, Keith developed many useful skills and hobbies, a passion for life, and an appreciation for the little things that are often overlooked but deeply matter. Spending free time working on a car, fishing, out for a motorcycle ride, enjoying the woods, doing projects with friends, or visiting with family, he lived a life that he felt was complete and fulfilling in the end. He was comfortable and at peace when he left this world to move onto his next adventure, and by now, has surely found the grill serving unlimited brats and fountain of ice cold root beer he’s been dreaming of.
Keith is survived by his children, Jared Wiechert of New Paris, IN, Laura Wiechert of Columbus, WI, and Angela Page of Fremont, WI, and two brothers, Ken (Deb Sanor) Wiechert of Clearwater, FL, and Pete (Cathy) Wiechert of Hopkins, MN, and one sister, Karen Patterson of Sparta, NJ, and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence Willets and Hazel Willetts LaChance, and his parents Laurence Wiechert and Alice Wiechert, and his sister Carol Sparks. He is loved dearly and will be missed by all.
