Kim Ann (Hutchison) Schroeder, 62, of New London, passed away with her loving husband of 44 years, Tom, by her side on July 31st, 2026, in the home they built together.

Kim is leaving behind a life filled with love, faith, family, and countless memories that will be cherished forever.

She was a woman who believed in doing. She loved deeply, worked hard, and rarely sat still as there was always something that could be taken care of or someone who needed her. Her strength, determination, and generous heart were woven into everything she did.

Some of the sweetest memories of her were made during the long summer days when her children were young. She would pack the cooler, gather everyone up, and spend the entire day at the swim beach. And when Dad came home from work, the day wasn't over. Everyone would be ready to head out boating for the evening. She made sure her family was fed, prepared, and together. Later in life, Kim traded the river for the lake. She piled her growing family, including her treasured grandchildren Molly, Caleb, William, Georgia, Teagan, Bennett and Isla, into the cabin for long weekends with the same cadence and determination - fitting two days into one.

She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing with Tom. Those quiet days on the water were more than just a pastime; they were part of the life they built together.

She was blessed to live close to her parents, William and Darlene Hutchison and hearing how they were after sending her grandchildren through the field to check in on them and raid the pantry for sweets. When Kim was with her siblings Todd (LoriBeth) Hutchison and Karie (Frank) Radtke, and Patricia Schroeder they were always filled with laughter as they joked and carried on. Watching them together was a reminder of the special kind of love that comes from growing up, side by side.

Above all, Kim was a person of deep-rooted faith. Her faith was not simply something she spoke about—it was a foundation of who she was and how she lived. It carried her through life's joys and hardships and shaped the way she loved, served, and cared for others. Kim touched so many through her work with the church, the school board, the MPB resale shop, and her ability to see a need before most.

Her children - Sadie (Steve) Borzynski, Ted (Heidi) Schroeder, Rebecca (Andy) Merklein, Sam (Rachel) Schroeder, Charlie (Sean Philipps) Schroeder, Madeline (James) Montgomery will remember a mother who made things happen, who filled summer days with adventure, who kept the cooler stocked and the family moving, and who showed through her life what it meant to love your family and live your faith.

She loved being an aunt to her nieces Tara, Aylah, and Vanessa.

Among other family members including aunts, uncles, and cousins, Kim is preceded in death by her mother- and father-in-law, Rev. Richard and Joan Schroeder and her beloved niece Megan Radtke.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 6th, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London, Wisconsin with visitation starting Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 from 4:00 -7:00 p.m at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London, Wisconsin then again Thursday, August 6th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London, Wisconsin.
