Age 73, of Clintonville, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at Froedtert Hospital Milwaukee Wisconsin. She was born on July 18, 1948, in Beaver Dam to the late Clarence and Lillian (Reetz). She grew up in F ox Lake with her three brothers Kenneth, John, and Kurt. She then went to college at New Ulm in Minnesota to pursue a teaching degree. She then was married to Gordon Hoewisch on April 24, 1976. She adopted his two sons, Barry and Tony. The family also fostered many children. On December 12, 1992, she was united in marriage to John Heinz. They had one daughter tog ether, Mary Kay.

During her life, s he worked as a school teacher at Emanuel Lutheran School in New London for 10 years and then 20+ years at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Manawa. Her favorite things while there were being in charge of the annual spring musical, and doing bulletin boards for the school and church. Kristine hardly ever missed a day of church. She was seen sitting in the same pew every week. During the summers she always enjoyed the annual rodeo parade in town, going to the library, and doing her gardening at home. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for family members on their special occasions.

Kristine had 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She would take the time to watch them when asked. She would drive all over to care for them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lillian, and her first husband, Gordon Hoewisch.

She is survived by her husband John, 3 children

Barry (Becky) Hoewisch and their children Bryan and Brady, Tony Hoewisch

Mary Kay Heinz (fiancé Andrew Platta) and daughter Adelyn

Six Stepchildren Debbie, Janice, John Jr., Donna, Dave and Bob

Three Brothers, Kenneth (Pat) Lehman, John (Claudine) Lehman and Curt (Grace) Lehman.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Manawa, with the Rev. Nathan Reichle officiating. The burial will be in the Lake Emily Cemetery, Fox Lake Wisconsin. The visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
