Larry Thorpe's Memorial Service Video Larry Thorpe, age 75, passed away peacefully at his home on April 28, 2022.

Larry was born on October 1, 1946, to the late Clemens and Ruth (Herminath) Thorpe.  He attended Washington High School in New London and graduated with the well-known class of 1964.  On March 7, 1980, he was united in marriage to Donna Millard.

Larry loved to buy and sell antiques, always searching for his next treasure.  He loved to fish and spend time with his family.  He was kind and generous and always had a story to tell.  He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family and friends – his most valued treasure.

Larry is survived by his wife Donna; son Weston (Diana), granddaughter Thalia; grandson Roman; brother Earl Thorpe; sister Corinne Conat; sisters-in-law, Jo Ann Bassette, Paula Millard, Ann Captain, Patricia Millard and Barbara (John) Marks.  He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Glen; brothers-in-law, Gordy Conat, Leon Bassette, and Steve Captain; sisters-in-law, Barbara Thorpe, Ruth Willis, and Linda Meshke.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
