LaVonne "Bonnie" Wegner Funeral Service Part 2

LaVonne Kay Wegner "Bonnie", age 73 of New London passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 due to pancreatic cancer.  Bonnie was born in New London to William and Evelyn (Warning) Volz.  On June 15, 1968 she married her high school sweetheart Michael Wegner at Trinity Lutheran Church in New London.  Bonnie graduated with the class of 1967 from New London High School.  She went on to cosmetology school and worked as a beautician at various places in New London, finishing her career at Tee-Off in New London.  Bonnie was a faithful, lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed crafting, thrifting, taking rides that often led to the casino, baking, cooking, gardening, making floral arrangements and spending time on the water. Bonnie was always worried about everybody else.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Kevin (Nancy) Wegner, Keith (Kelly) Wegner and Kinsley (Nathan) Rathman; grandchildren, Lisa Guyette, Nicole (Mike) Hinnenthal, Kortney Wegner, Kasie (Nick) Ullman, Hailey Wegner, William Rathman, Benjamin Rathman, Kylie Wegner, Andrew Rathman and Kaden Wegner; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Shiryl) Volz; sister, Linda (Don) Talady; brother-in-law, Terry (Lois) Wegner and Dale (Kelly) Wegner; sister-in-law, Susie (Larry) Laha and two adopted granddaughters, Brooke Stegall and Ally Hoffman.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Andrew and Lacy Wegner and brother-in-law, Pat Wegner.

The Funeral Service for Bonnie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church in New London.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery, New London.
