Leonard J. Ritchie Jr., age 70, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. He was born on November 12, 1951, in New London son of the late Leonard Sr. and Hilda (Jarvais) Ritchie. Lenny loved the Lord, the earth, and almost every creature He created, his family, friends, and neighbors...and this great nation.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

He farmed in the New London area and also worked at Hillshire Farm (Tyson) for 17 years.

Lenny is survived by his siblings: Judith Fink, Margaret (Jerry) Mischke, Beverly (Clay) Harrington, and Janet (Dale) Waterhouse. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Betty (Gene) Fitzgerald.

Funeral Mass for Lenny will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bear Creek on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Tim Shillcox officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London from 4-7 p.m. and also at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
