Leslie Harold Knorr, age 86, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sept. 28, 2026 following a short illness. He was born Aug. 15, 1940 to Norman & Mary (Herres) Knorr of Shiocton. Les was a graduate of Shiocton High School and then served in the Army. While station near Oregon, he met and married Margaret Church, the love of his life. After his time in the Army, Les and Marge returned to Shiocton where they co-owned and operated Les’ Red Owl for several years. Later they bought and ran the Shiocton Liquor Store and became members of the Shiocton Business League. During these years he also drove truck as a private contractor for the USPS and worked part-time for the Village of Shiocton. In his free time, Les enjoyed fishing, going “North” and dirt track racing. In later years he especially liked his trips to the local coffee shop. But what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family.

Les is survived by his sons Thomas and Richard (Kay) Knorr; Sister Lois (Rick) Krull; Grandchildren Sarah (Tyler) Eloranta, Brett (Jessie Wilson) Knorr, Joshua Knorr; Great-grandchildren Jonas, James and Maggie Eloranta; his special Brother-In-Law Tom (Ruth) Church; nieces and nephews here in Wisconsin as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews and family in Oregon.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Margaret, parents Norman and Mary; and several other in-laws and friends.

A private family Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
