Obituary

Lillian Ann (Conlon) Konrad passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 14, 2025 with her family at her side at Woodside Assisted Living. Lillian was born May 19, 1934 in the Township of Deer Creek, Outagamie County, the first child of Edward Daniel and Doris Edna (McHugh) Conlon. Lillian attended grade school in Meadow Grove Public School, graduating from Clintonville High School in 1952. She was married to Kenneth Francis Konrad on October. 14, 1952. The couple enjoyed 68 years of marriage until his death on November 25, 2020. The couple spent most of their married life in Kalamazoo, MI.

While living in Michigan, Lillian earned a degree in Cosmetology and owned her own Salon. She was an avid bowler and golfer. The couple retired to Tennessee in 1996, where they purchased a home in Fairfield Glade, a retirement community of Crossville on the signature hole 14th  fairway.  When Ken realized he needed a warmer climate, they relocated to Riverside Golf and Boating Resort in Ruskin, Florida. She enjoyed travelling with her husband and daughter, Debra. They took several cruises (the Caribbean, Hawaii, and the Mediterranean), a pilgrimage with St. Anne's Catholic Church to France and Italy, and rented a car and toured England, Ireland, and Greece.

Lillian is survived by her daughter, Debra Mary (husband, Daniel J.) Foster of San Antonio, Tx; grandson, Lee R. (Lenora) of San Antonio, TX, and granddaughter, Danielle N. (Clinton P.) Martin, Panama City, Panama. She is further survived by her sisters: Patricia Polzin, Evelyn Wolff, Shirley Conlon, Alyce (Gary) Ritchie, Maureen (David) Freeborg, and brother, Edward (Jeanne) Conlon; sister-in-law Lucille Konrad, and brother-in-law John Peeters. Along with numerous nephews and nieces.

Besides her parents and spouse; Lillian was preceded in death by her brother, Michael (Margo) Conlon, her sister, Barbara (John) Konopacky, and brothers-in-law, Jess Brownell, Leon Konrad and David Konrad, sisters-in-law, Vera Flanagan and Norma Peeters.

The family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude to all the wonderful administration, nurses, and volunteers at Woodside Manor 2; and especially Unity Hospice.

A memorial service is pending at Woodside and an extended family memorial will be held in New London, Wisconsin at Most Precious Blood Cemetery in July followed by an informal gathering at "The Waters" in New London, for those wishing to join the family in celebrating Lil's life.
