Lisa Marie Bednarowski, age 47, was born on August 24, 1978, to Joe and Linda (Helein) Bednarowski. She passed peacefully in her bed on Friday, January 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving children and fiancé, after a long and courageous battle with stage IV colorectal cancer.
Lisa was, above all else, a devoted and extraordinary mother. Her children were the center of her world, and she poured her heart into making their lives full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Lisa had a gentle, loving spirit and a deep appreciation for nature and beauty. She loved unicorns and the color purple, enjoyed walking state park trails with her family, and found peace hiking, kayaking, and spending time outdoors. One of her favorite places was Kellers Lake, where she loved watching waterfalls and soaking in the calm of nature.
Lisa spent most of her life working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for others with compassion and kindness. Helping people wasn't just her job—it was her calling. Her nurturing heart extended far beyond her work and into every relationship she held.
She cherished motorcycle rides with her fiancé, Leo, and also loved riding alongside her close friend Ronda. Lisa was known for her daily Kwik Trip coffee runs—something she simply couldn't live without. Those small routines, like so many things about her, brought comfort and joy to those around her.
Lisa was a natural lover of life—someone who embraced each day, found joy in simple moments, and shared her warmth freely. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering love will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her grandmother, Laverne; her father, Joe; her mother, Linda; her sister, Laura and uncle, Gary.

Lisa is survived by her fiancé, Leo; her children, Kayla (25), Brooklynn (19), Kaiden (15), Ella (14), and Eli (10); her brother, Ryan (Mackenzie) Bednarowski; and her beloved nieces and nephews: Skyler, Abbie, Natalie, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Haley (T.J.), and Oakley; uncle Scott Helein and aunt Kaycie Helein; And her beloved dog Luna who was there alongside her through every step of the way of the long battle.

Lisa's legacy is one of love, compassion, and selflessness. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
