Lisa Rebecca Jackson, age 62 of New London, passed away at home after a lengthy illness.  She was born on September 20, 1959, at South Shore Hospital, Chicago (Cook County), IL to Vivian (Jingling) Tomasek and the late George Tomasek Sr.  Lisa was united in marriage to William Jackson.  He preceded her in death in 2002.

Lisa's family was her life.  She treasured time with her sons and grandchildren. Lisa loved being involved.  Even as her health declined, she was always there to babysit.  She had a very pleasant and caring nature and was generous with everything, but most of all her time and love.  She was the glue that held the family together, hosting many family gatherings and preparing the food.  Lisa enjoyed the beauty of nature, especially cardinals.  She was a devoted football fan.  Music was a huge part of Lisa's life; she loved all music and enjoyed it until the end. Nothing pleased her more than live music-whether it was a live concert or simple guitar music.  Lisa also had a love for camping and bonfires.  She had a passion for games, her favorites being scrabble and pinochle.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Vivian Tomasek; children, Amy Kees, Josh (Cara) Tomasek and their children, Amelia, George, and Andrew; George (Carole) Ford and their child, April;  Jonathon (Lianne) Jackson and their children, Evelyn and Adelaide; Clifford (Julia) Jackson and Jennifer Jackson and her children, Rosa, Kellie, and Hollie; and her sister, Michelle (Mike) Nebel.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; father, George Sr. and brother, George Jr. Tomasek.

Per Lisa's wishes, there will no public service held.  A remembrance will be held at a later date.
