Lois Zemple's Funeral Service Video
Lois May Zemple, age 91, entered into heaven on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Lois was born on May 13, 1932 in Sugar Bush, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Walter and Frances (Henry) Davis.
Lois was confirmed on July 8, 1956 at Faith Lutheran Church in Appleton. Her confirmation verse was, "2 Peter 3:18 " But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity." She married Dennis Zemple on August 21, 1954 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa and was blessed with 4 children.
Lois worked at Hamilton's Pickle Factory in 1950 and the American Toy Factory from 1972-1992. She was a long time member of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hortonville. Her greatest enjoyment was time spent with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lois is survived by her husband, Dennis of 69 years; one son Rev. Dean (Kim) Zemple; two daughters, Diane (Dave) Lorge and Dawn (Patrick) McNichols; 13 grandchildren; Nathan (Hannah) Zemple, Jeremy (Megan) Zemple, Philip (Jackie) Zemple, Andrew (Ashley) Zemple, Christopher Zemple, Katie Zemple, Casey Zemple, Joshua (Katie) Lorge, Scott (Denise) Lorge, Kristin Erdman, Kevin Lorge, Ryan (Heidi) McNichols, Rachel (Dylan) Stegerwald; and 20 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister in-law, Delores Davis; and brothers in-law, Ronnie (Virginia) Zemple and Roger Zemple; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her son, Dale Zemple; grandchild, Alissa Zemple; brothers, Ken, Don, Ward and Glenn Davis; and sister, Verna Ricker.
Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints."
The Funeral Service for Lois will held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville with the Rev. Tristan Paustian officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Little Wolf Cemetery in Manawa.
