Lorraine F. Young passed away at St. Joseph's Residence in New London, Wisconsin, at the age of 93. Lorraine was born in the Town of Ellington on April 3, 1932, to the late Arthur and Hazel (Herman) Lemke.

Lorraine was a meat wrapper at Park-N-Market in Neenah for many years. She then went on to own Lorraine's Family Restaurant in New London, for 13 years, as well as Lorraine's Lake Air in Embarrass, WI. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, crafting, bowling, and going to rummage sales. An avid sports fan, she loved to go watch the Packers and Brewers play, even going to 8 Superbowls. She loved to travel and visit her family members spread across the country. She also traveled for bowling; competing in national competitions.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Linda (Carleton) Oats of AZ, Kay (Tom) Hines of GA, and Cindy (Mike) Wulf of WI; grandchildren, Jon Wulf (and friend Adrian), Melinda (Eric) Hull, Joseph (Katie) Hines, and Penny (Tim) Willis; great-grandchildren, Harper Hines, Charlotte Hines, Wyatt Hines, and Theo Hines. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Lemke; and in-laws, Lavern Sommers, Ruth Pankow, Carol Huebner, David Gruetzmacher, Daniel Gruetzmacher, and Sandy Quandt; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Hazel Lemke; husbands, Harold Gruetzmacher (dec. 1973) and David Young (dec. 2013); sons, James H. Gruetzmacher, and Jerry Lee Gruetzmacher; great-grandson, Parker Wulf; brothers, Russell, Arthur, Milo, and Robert; her sisters, Helen Wege and Loretta (Len) Bellile; and in-laws, Eldor Gruetzmacher, and Deloris Westphal.

The Memorial Service for Lorraine will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, in New London, Wisconsin. The visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
