Lucille Drath Funeral Service Video

Lucille H. Drath, age 96, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025.  Lucille was born on June 30, 1928 to the late Alfred and Meta (Freimuth) Kalbus.  She was united in marriage to Vernon E. Drath on June 25, 1947.

Lucille is survived by her children, Karen (Roger) Dorn and David (Mary) Drath; son-in-law, Kevin Kelly; grandchildren, Stacy (Chris) Olson, Julie Dorn and her husband, Jeremy Pool, Victoria (Ken) Hanna, Alexandra (Ryan) Kerr, Vernon Drath (special friend, Jacki King), Nancy Heuer-Galica and Tony (Jennifer) Heuer; great-grandchildren, Nichol Olson and Jamie Olson (special friend, Peyton Reinke), Maxwell and Zora Dorn-Pool, Claire and Thomas Hanna, Emily and Aiden Kerr, Riley Heuer and Koen Galica, Zachary Karst, Johnathan and Branden Heuer and McKenzie (Adam) Ahrenholtz.  She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon E. Drath (1995); daughter, Kathy Kelly (2025), her parents, Alfred and Meta Kalbus and her brother, Raymond.

The Funeral Service for Lucille will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery, New London.
