Marian Josephine (Gregory) Eplett passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Monarch Meadows in New London, Wisconsin.
Marian, 95 years old, was born in Ironwood, Michigan, on September 1, 1930 to the late Anthony and Frances (Severin) Gregory. She graduated from Luther L. Wright High School. She married David Eplett Sr and together they had three children; Jeffrey, Geraldine, David Jr.
Marian worked many years at Munsingwear in Michigan and she specialized in jewelry at JC Penny. She was a great cook and kept a beautiful, clean house. She enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Island Lake and she looked forward to “Card Club” with friends. She loved working in her flower gardens and playing with her grandchildren who gave her great joy. Marian, a devoted and faithful Catholic, carried herself as a lady with impeccable makeup and beautiful outfits.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Geraldine (Homer) Conley and her son, David (Robin) Eplett Jr, as well as her siblings; John Gregory, Margaret Johnson, and Gerald Gregory. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Rebecca Lopiccolo, Abigail Conley, Avery Eplett, Jeffrey Eplett as well as her great granddaughter; Stefania Lopiccolo. Also surviving is her good friend and trusted caregiver Rosemary Godlewski.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Eplett Sr; her parents, Anthony and Frances (Severin) Gregory; her son, Jeffrey Davis Eplett; her brothers, Thomas Gregory, James Gregory, and Joseph Gregory; and her sisters, Kathleen Goodfellow, and Elizabeth “Mitzi” Aimar.
Marian is happy to be in Heaven, reuniting with her loved ones, especially her son, Jeffrey.
A Catholic Mass will be held in Marian’s memory on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood, Michigan.
