Marion Moder's Funeral Service Video

Marion Louise Moder, age 76 of New London, formerly of Shiocton, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at ThedaCare Appleton.  Marion was born on November 29, 1946 in Appleton to the late Russell Hoerning and raised by Martha Ames. She was united in marriage to Thomas Moder on November 19, 1966.  He preceded her in death in 2018.  They were married 52 years. Marion worked at Simmons Juvenile Products for many years.

Marion is survived by her children, Tammy (Brad) Fette, Troy Moder (special friend, Anna) and Todd Moder; grandchildren, Darin Young, Dillan Young (fiancé, Kori Alex), Damien Fette, Trent Moder, Peyton Moder (fiancé, Michael), Parker Moder and Madysen Moder; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Colton, Lilly, Lillian, Evelyn and Jaxson; siblings, Alan (Kathy) Hill and numerous other brothers and sisters, along with sisters-in-law, Joan Moder and Mickey Meyer.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Timothy Moder; brothers-in-law, Duane Moder and John Moder and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Cowden and Mary Desmond.

The Funeral Service for Marion will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Borchardt Moder Funeral Home in Shiocton.  Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Bovina.
