Marion Ruth (Ziegler) Wittling, age 75 of New London, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025.  Marion was born on September 21, 1949 in Phillips to the late Joe and Gladys Ziegler.  She was raise on the Ziegler family farm and went to Phillips Elementary School and graduated from Phillips High School with the class of 1967.  Marion met and married Franklin Wittling in May 1972 and they moved to the family farm.  Together they had one daughter, Paulina.  She and Franklin divorced in January 2008.  Following that she moved to New London to be closer to her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. Marion became a CNA in 1997.  She worked at the Regency House in Phillips until 2008 and after moving, worked at Trinity Terrace in New London until her retirement in 2015.

Marion is survived by her daughter, Paulina (Russ) Krolow and granddaughter, Katelynn Krolow.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Franklin Wittling; brother-in-law, Edward Schmidt and sister, Marge Schmidt.
