Obituary

Mary "Shadow" Katherine (Heidemann) Puyleart, age 70 of Green Bay, walked into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, May 20, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.  Mary was born on June 4, 1953 in New London to the late Frederick and Lucille (Sommer) Heidemann.  She married the love of her life Russell Puyleart on July 27, 1999 in Green Bay.  Mary graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School with the class of 1971.  Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, singing and collecting shoes.  Mary had a passion for shoes and worked at many shoe stores throughout her life, including Younkers, Bakers, Carnival and retired from Rogan's.  She was a huge Packers fan and enjoyed cheering them on.

Mary is survived by her husband, Russell; step-daughter, Sarah (Nathan) Crone; grandchildren, Israel, Warrick and a baby girl on the way; siblings, Elizabeth (Randy) Kirchner, Johanna (Clayton) Funk; in-laws, Ron Puyleart, Sandra Zak, Sheryl (Mike) Stein, Roger (Bridget) Puyleart, Ryan (Patrice) Puyleart and Janice Puyleart, Jerry Schott, and her best friend, Kathy Puyleart.  She is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law, Edna and Robert Puyleart; brothers-in-law, Robert Puyleart, Randy Puyleart and John Zak and sister-in-law, Susan Schott.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
