Mary Roloff's Funeral Service Video

Mary Ida Roloff, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at St. Joseph Residence in New London, Wisconsin. She was born on July 16, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Reuben and Evelyn (Bodoh) Clark, and one of nine children. Mary was united in marriage to Arthur (Art) Roloff on September 18, 1976 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London.

Mary worked at St. Joseph Residence for many years as a housekeeper, and then as a dietary aid, and she was very proud of it. She was a faithful member of Most Precious Catholic Church for most of her life. Mary spoke fluent French and she loved teaching it to others.

Mary is survived by her step-children, Judy (Darwin) Handschke, Lynn (Terry) Lorge, Christine (Joe) Geniesse, and Bart (Cindy) Roloff; her step daughter in-law, Annie Roloff; step grandchildren, Casey (Eric) Thornburgh, Amanda (Adam Royal) Lorge, Nichole (Craig) Baumgartner, Celeste Roloff, Benjamin (Diane) Flath, Michelle (Nate) Waldvogel, Ted Roloff, Bill (fiancé Kayla) Roloff, Sherry Everly, Bridget Geniesse, Hannah (Sam) Malone, Joseph (Molly) Geniesse Jr., Erin Geniesse, Marty (Elizabeth) Geniesse, Patrick Geniesse, Samuel Geniesse, Mary Clair Geniesse, Owen Geniesse. Mary is further survived by her great-grandchildren, Isabella Thornburgh, Alex Thornburgh, Robbin Waldvogel, Mitchel Waldvogel, Jude Baumgardtner, Wren Baumgardtner, Ellie Geniesse, Mason Geniesse, Ethan Geniesse, Felicity Genisse, Scarlett Malone and Zane Malone.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and one sister, her husband, and her son, Bret.

Mary's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Trinity Terrace, St. Joseph Residence, and the Emergency Room at ThedaCare Medical Center, New London for their kindness, compassion and care.

The Funeral Service for Mary will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Residence Chapel in New London, with Fr. John Kleinschmidt officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery, New London.
