Mary Ann Lathrop, nee Jedwabny, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 24th, 2025 at New London Family Medical Center, New London Wisconsin.

Mary Ann was born August 31, 1933 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, to Anton and Gertrude Jedwabny. Mary Ann attended St. Mary's High School in Menasha and graduated in 1951. She worked at Marathon Paper in the office until she started her family.

Mary Ann married Tom Lathrop on January 9, 1965 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Menasha, WI.

Raising her family and later in life, Mary Ann was very involved in her parish and its ministries. She was one of the first lay Eucharistic ministers at St Peter and Paul Parish, a 50+ year member of the Christian Women Society, the Blanket Ministry, as well as many other volunteer programs within her Parish.

Mary Ann is survived by her five children: Melissa (Dan) Mercer, Jess Lathrop (Jim Wheeler), Laurie Bandy, Carrie Lathrop, Ted (Angel) Lathrop. Mary Ann is further survived by ten grandchildren: Matt Mercer, Thomas Mercer, Sam (Ellie) Wheeler, Jackson Wheeler, Connor Bandy (Steffani), Morgan Bandy (Bradley), Mariah (Chris) Thompson, Parker White, Anthony Lathrop, Gracelynn Lathrop and three great-grandchildren, Margaret, Norah and Walter Thompson. Mary Ann is further survived by her sisters-in-law Dorothy Scheller and Maxine Lathrop.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Tom, brother John, Tom's sisters Marjorie Tomlinson, Addie Lou Mulvey, and Jessie Lathrop; Tom's brothers Louis Jr., Burton, and Ted; and brothers-in-law, Tommy Tomlinson, Francis Mulvey and Henry Scheller.

Visitation will be Monday, August 18, 2025 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Hortonville WI, with a Mass of the Christian Burial to follow, with Father Phil Schoofs presiding.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Residence Communities and the staff of New London Family Medical Center for their care of Mary Ann.
