Mary Skourtis' Funeral Mass Video

Mary Helen Skourtis, age 85 of Menasha, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at her residence.  Mary was born on November 20, 1938 in Lancaster, WI to the late Leo and Irene (Norrish) McGinty, the oldest of six children.  She married Anastassios Skourtis on December 22, 1960 in Chicago, IL.  Mary was a teacher of culinary arts in Orange County, CA.

Mary is survived by her children, Constantine Skourtis and Rena (Jeff) Christensen; grandchildren, Zachary and Daniel Christensen and Anastassia (Curtis) White; great-grandson, Henry White; siblings, John McGinty, Margaret McDaniel, Tom (Sandee) McGinty and Dan (Lori) McGinty and sister-in-law, Lynn McGinty.  She is further survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband; parents and brother, Leo McGinty Jr..

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bear Creek with Fr. Simon Minyati officiating.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
