Mary Jane Sullivan, age 90, formerly of Bear Creek passed away on February 16, 2022, at The Cottages in Shawano, following a long struggle with dementia.  She was born in the Town of Lebanon on June 10, 1931, the daughter of the late Michael and Kathryn (Dempsey) Gorman.  On October 20, 1955, Mary Jane was united in marriage to William F. Sullivan in Lebanon. Mary Jane was a great mom to her eight children.  She formerly worked at the FWD, Hortonville Toy Factory, Mike's Town & Country, Hilgenberg Reality, and Clintonville High School.  She was a very active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church; being involved in the PCCW, distributed home communion, was a Eucharistic minister, was the funeral lunch coordinator and worked the sauerkraut festival.  She was always willing to help anyone that needed help!  Mary Jane was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, often attending many of their school and sporting events.

Mary Jane is survived by her children: Barb (Jesse) Kennow; Mary (Larry) Hartwig; Tim (Carol Eanone) Sullivan; Pete Sullivan; Pat Sullivan and Beth (Kevin) Adams; grandchildren: Brenda (David) Strebe, Brian (Andrea) Sasman, Jerry Sasman, Scott (Chris) Kennow, Jessica (Brian) Bozek, Chad (Kelly) Kennow, Kathy Jo (Jason) Krueger, Joe (Brandi Suttner) Hartwig, Jeff (Kari Norton) Hartwig, Jeremy (Becky) Hartwig, Phillip Sullivan, Zach (Jessica) Schroeder, Tasha Eanone, Travis (Kassie) Eanone, Brandon (Alyssa) Sullivan, Shayla Sullivan, Charlie (Angie) Stueck, Casey (Laura) Stueck; great-grand children; Sawyer, Spencer, Jacob, Alex, Kailey, Riley, Madelyn, Cameron, Max, Eli, MaKenzie Jo, Daisy, Brooke, Jadon, Payton, Beau, Lincoln, Logan, Megan, Ariel, Jayden, Hunter, Easton, Megan, Cullen, Oaklyn, Macy, Jackson, Ben, Berkley, Mollie, Caden, Lexi, Charles, Mason, Bryndly, Dax and Kett.

She is further survived by her siblings Ed (Jean) Gorman, Patricia Leary, and Kate Frederick; in-laws, Marceedes Sullivan and Bev Sullivan; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill; sons Bill Sullivan Jr. and Scott Sullivan; grandchildren Jeanette Sullivan, Troy Sasman, Abbigale Sullivan, and Emily Sullivan; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Julia Sullivan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack (Rosie), Jim, David, Chuck (Marie) and Marcus Sullivan; sisters-in-law Elaine (Jay) Gough and Alice (Mayford) Kosmerchock and brothers-in-law, Roger Leary and Howard Frederick.

Funeral mass for Mary Jane will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bear Creek with Fr. Tim Shillcox officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to sincerely thank the employees at The Cottages Memory Care unit for the special care and love they gave mom.
