Missy grew up outside of the City of New London. She with her twin sister Trish attended k-8 at Emanuel Lutheran School in New London where she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith and graduated. Missy worked in various roles at AAL and Thrivent before pursuing her desire to help people through her career in the nursing field. Missy worked as an LPN in various hospital and clinic settings for 11 years before the progression of breast cancer made that no longer possible.
Missy was an avid concert goer and most enjoyed country music concerts, especially Hodag in Rhinelander, WI. When she wasn't attending a concert, you could find her watching her favorite TV shows like American Idol or The Voice. She also enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Winneconne, WI with her family and, friends boating or relaxing in the hot tub.
Missy is survived by her husband of 25 years Jerry Wozniak, her son Spencer Wozniak, her father Franklin Dobbert, and her sister Wendy (Michael) Schwartz. She was a proud Aunt of Becky (Jason) West, Jake (Cassi Buckner) Coonen, Bethany (Jake) Johnson, Joseph "Dakota" Schwartz, and Jayden Nau. She was also a proud great-Aunt to Makennah, Hailey, Brooke, and Liam West as well as the newly born Levi Johnson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her twin sister Trish Nau, brother Michael Dobbert, mother Barbara Dobbert, and grandparents Kimble and Eunice Romberg; Elmer and Laura Dobbert.
Missy was strong in her faith and believed her sister, mother, and brother would be waiting for her as she entered into heaven. Her kind heart and positive attitude were contagious as she strived to make everyday a little better for all who knew her.
