Michael Kempf's Funeral Service Video

Michael J. Kempf, age 61 of Freedom, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at his home.  Michael was born on October 6, 1963 in New London to John and Sandi (Warmbrunn) Kempf.  He grew up in the Town of Maple Creek and graduated from New London High School with the Class of 1982.  Mike enjoyed snowmobiling, camping and fishing.  He could always be found working on or fixing projects in his shop for his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his mother, Sandi (Kempf) Knapp; son, John Kempf; sister, Sheila (John) Gehrt; uncle and aunts, Kathleen (DuWayne) Buelow, Dorothy Stilen and Pat Warmbrunn; cousins, Colleen (Roland) Drews and their family, Cathy Vander Hyde and her family and Tricia Lopas and her family.  He is further survived by other cousins and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, John and Martha Warmbrunn and Harold and Esther Kempf; uncles, Virgil Stilen, Frank Warmbrunn and Glenn Kempf and aunt, Shirley Kempf.

The Funeral Service for Michael will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in New Maple Creek Cemetery, Town of Maple Creek.
