Obituary

Michael B. Todtenhagen, "Togi" of Buffalo, NY and Hortonville, WI, went home with Jesus on January 8, 2023. He was the beloved son of the late Benjamin and Barbara Todtenhagen; the devoted brother of Beth Schmidt and David Todtenhagen and loving uncle to Todd, Adam and Craig Schmidt, Zachary Todtenhagen and Sarah Twardowski. Togi lived in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, before settling and making his home in Hortonville 22 years ago. He graduated with a culinary degree from Emerson High School in Buffalo and loved cooking and baking for all his family and friends. His cheesecakes and "Togi Toes" were legendary. Togi managed several restaurants and bartended in many places wherever he lived. He participated in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics for 10 years. Togi lived life to the fullest. A more generous and friendly person you'll never find. He loved golf and would fish every day he could. Togi loved to float in a pool in the hot sun and dance and could be heard singing "It's a Wonderful World" at any party or gathering. He was a lifelong Oriole's fan and Bill's fan. If you were a friend of Togi, you were a friend for life and you were truly blessed.

A Celebration of Togi's Life for will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Hortonville Lanes.
