***RESCHEDULED DUE TO SNOW STORM***

Norma Jean Kohler of New London, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the age 70, surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer. Norma was born in New London on September 30, 1955 to the late Louis and ReVerna Beyer (Schneidewend). She was baptized and confirmed at Emanuel Lutheran Church, where she eventually married George Allen Kohler on October 25, 1975.

Norma was a volunteer at the VFW Post 2732. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for over 30 years, working the Friday night fish fry, along with the brat fry's, pancake breakfasts, and other special events. She took pride in cooking the fish every Friday night. Norma also worked at Packaging Services in Dale, Wisconsin for over 20 years until she retired. In her free time, Norma enjoyed taking pictures. She captured the beauty of everyone she knew, along with sunsets and the moon. She loved spending time with her family and going to the casino and other adventures with her friend Diane Stelzner.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, George Kohler; her parents, Louis and ReVerna Beyer; both maternal and paternal grandparents, Paul and Ella Schneidewend, and Herman and Ida Beyer; her brother, Robert Beyer; and other various family and friends.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Nicole Kohler; grandchildren, Gage Kottke, Baily Gitter (Michaela), Taylor Brubach, and Ashley White; great grandchildren, Everleigh Gitter, Scarlet Gitter, Liliana Gitter, and Tessa White; her sister, Nanette (James) Leland; her nephew, Ryan Leland; her niece, Sarah (Aaron) Ritchie; and her furry friends, Charlie, Ember and Lucy.

Special thanks to Compassus Hospice, Chaplain Fabian, and Palliative Care, along with a special thank you to longtime family friend, Christine Zapatero.
