Pat Gorges Funeral Service Video

Patricia Gorges, age 87 of New London, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at St. Joseph Residence.  Pat was born on April 1, 1938.  She was united in marriage to Roland Gorges on September 12, 1957.  He preceded her in death in 1988. She was an avid crafter whether it was painting, organizing flowers, or designing. Pat loved to cook; some would even say she made the best meatloaf. She would also enjoy watching the birds outside especially the hummingbirds, little hummers as she would say. Above all else she loved spending time with her family. Patricia's boys and grandchildren were her whole world.

Pat was a loving sister, wife, mother and devoted grandmother. She is survived by her six sons Bryon, Bob, Bart (Leah), Bill (Carrie), Gene (Lori), Jerry (Barb), and daughter in law Michele Gorges. She is also survived by her many grandchild; Grant Gorges, Summer (Ree) Lee, Logan (Tina) Gorges, Tiffany Gorges, Nichole (Carl) Luedtke, Kristopher (Andreia) Gorges, Brady (Katie) Gorges, Baylee (Blair) Gorges,  Austin (Melissa) Gorges, Jamie (Rachel) Gorges, Emily Gorges, Morgan Gorges, Hunter (Isabella) Gorges. Pat was also greatly loved by numerous great grandchildren. Further more her sisters Sharon Kyker, Lorraine Clifton, Joanne Cantrell, Rosie Leach, Debbie Feller, Diane Scranten, Dawna Reiser, Doreen Barlow, brother in law Orville Luebke and sister and law Roxie Schultz-Schmitt.

In addition to her parents and husband, Roland, Pat was preceded in death by her son, Scott.

The Funeral Service for Pat will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Town of Caledonia.
