Patricia (Patti) Newhouse, 72, passed peacefully at home on Thursday, November 20th, 2025.  Patti was born September 10, 1953 in Germantown, WI to John and Christine Newhouse.  She graduated from Germantown High School in 1971 and went on to work at Skelly's Truck Stop in Richfield, WI where she was honored with being named Waitress of the Year.  From there, she went to The Hill in Slinger, WI.  In the late 1970's, Patti moved to New London, WI where she began working at Big Boy and then to Bucky's Diner.  Every customer she spent time with became a friend.  When her waitressing days were over she moved on to spend 8 years at Presto Products.  From there she began her bartending years at Guth's, The VFW, and The Barn where she made many lifelong friends.

Patti had a heart of gold and always wanted to help anyone in need. She had a devious sense of humor and loved to laugh.  She looked to find the good in everyone and every situation. Patti was the honorary grandma to all the neighborhood kids for many generations.  The candy dish and cookie jar were always full.  She loved cooking and reading through her collection of cookbooks and recipe cards.  Decorating her house for every holiday made her incredibly happy. She had a crazy obsession with salt. Keeping shakers in her purse and car just in case. Patti loved hosting and having parties. Her house became the hangout where many memories were made. She was a lover of all animals but her biggest passion in life were her dogs.  Patti loved EVERYTHING dog, including her most recent companion Snoopy. Patti cherished her many friendships.

Patti is survived by her brother Jack (Nancy) Newhouse; nieces Abby (Andrew) Hoggatt and Meghan Newhouse; great-niece Charli. She is further survived by many friends who became family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grand-parents.

A celebration of life will be held at Cruz Inn in New London on December 7th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
