Pauline Marie
Bohlmann
March 2, 1946 – April 5, 2026
Pauline Marie Bohlmann (Welhouse) 80 yrs, from New London, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, April 5th, at Thedacare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, Wisconsin. She was surrounded by the love and care of her family. She was born in Kaukauna, Wisconsin on March 2nd, 1946 to Frances (Jansen) and George Welhouse.
Pauline and her family moved to Waukesha, Wisconsin where she later attended High School and met Richard Bohlmann in 1961. They married in 1967 after Rick returned from The US Air Force Officer training. They welcomed their first son in 1969. While Rick was in the service, Pauline lived with her inlaws Glen and Alice Bohlmann. Pauline treasured the quality time they spent together. Pauline and Alice often played "Scrabble" and over time she perfected the game. She was the one to go to when the rules of the game were in question.
Pauline and Rick moved to New London, Wisconsin in 1975. They were blessed with three children, Michael, Brad, and Jeffry. Sadly, Brad left this world as an infant but remained forever in her heart. Pauline and Richard later divorced, but always remained good friends.
Pauline had multiple jobs where she found that her niche' was in the kitchen. She worked at The Rainbow Supper Club, and The Red Owl. Her connections at The Rainbow Supper Club then led her to The New London Golf Club. She ultimately found her calling there as it later became Shamrock Heights Golf Course. She enjoyed working in the kitchen, but out visiting with the patrons is what she loved most. She was always a familiar face to those who frequented the course.
After retirement, she spent her days doing what she loved best. She loved to entertain friends with an evening playing cards and good conversation. She was a thrifter through and through, and could never pass up a trip to Goodwill or St. Vincent's when visiting her sister. Pauline was blessed with four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. There was nothing in this world that meant more to her than her family. She loved spending time with her siblings and spoiling her grandchildren. She was full of life and full of sass. Over time, her body started to fail her, but her spirit for life never wavered. Every battle she encountered became a challenge she was determined to overcome. Her will to live was fueled by her endless love for her family and friends.
Pauline is survived by her children Michael (Sally) Bohlmann, Jeffry (Allie) Bohlmann; grandchildren, Keri, Brad (Hannah), Isabelle, Lydia Bohlmann, and great granddaughter Elise Bohlmann; siblings, George (Amy) Welhouse, Christina (Tom) Zieher and Cynthia (Joe) Mindiola; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by close friends, Rick and Wendy Bohlmann, and many more who treasured her. She was preceded in death by her parents Frances and George Welhouse, her son Bradley Bohlmann, her sister's Geraldine Burnell and Diana Tessman.
Per Pauline's request, there will be a private burial and service at a later date.
Raise a glass of Crown Royal Vanilla and Diet Pepsi and toast to a wonderful woman who we will miss dearly.
