Penny L. Walters, age 70 of Waupaca, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 14, 2025 at her home.  Penny was born on September 28, 1954 to the late Carol Hirst and Edward Fischer.  She was a dedicated homemaker, who loved caring for her kids.  Penny worked a few odd jobs over the years, but always preferred being with the kids. For the most part, Penny raised her children in Broadhead, WI.   She and her partner Daryl spent many years traveling, especially in Key West.  In her later years, she loved spending time with her grandkids.

Penny is survived by her children, Tracy Kanaman and Tammy White; sister, Kim (William) Walters and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  She is further survived by the father of her children, Arnold "Butch" Walters.

In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her partner, Daryl; sisters, Kathy and Sherry; brother, Patrick; son, Danny; niece Dana and sons-in-law, Paul and Henry.
