Perry G. Anderson, age 70, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at ThedaCare Medical Center in New London. He was born on June 9, 1950, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, son of the late John and Doris (Mundell) Anderson. If you only met Perry once or knew him a lifetime, you knew his family, his girls and grandchildren were his life. He loved to visit with everyone, chat about life and offer advice, tell bad jokes and riddles, and enjoyed a good cup of coffee. He was the life of the party and loved to dance. With his baby blue eyes and charming smile Perry could light up a room with laughter. And his I LOVE YOUs we will miss the most. ♥
He worked at Farm Service Agency (ASCS) for over forty years in Taylor & Outagamie counties. He served his country in the US Air Force from 1969-1972. He was stationed in Texas and the 6987 th Security Group at Shu Lin Kou Air Station in Taiwan (Republic of China). Shu Lin Kou was a highly classified intelligence-gathering installation. Perry's role was vital in this top-secret assignment.
Perry is survived by his daughters, Christine (Todd) Heise, Sarah (late husband Todd) Hieronimus, and Jennifer (Tony) Heuer; grandchildren Lauren Watters, McKenzie Anderson (fiancé Adam Ahrenholtz), Johnathan Heuer, and Brandon Heuer; siblings, Ronald Anderson, Ken (Judy) Anderson, and Barry (Sue) Anderson; his special friends, Bob and Cindy Ogurek and his cousin Beverly Younger. He is further survived by his dear Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and special friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jackie and Rick, a sister Sharon, and son-in-law Todd Hieronimus.
A special thank you to ThedaCare Cancer Group, Palliative Care Team, and New London's Medical Center for their care and compassion for our Dad. We would also like to thank Hopper and Kim for their willingness to always offer a hand and help us with anything we needed in our dad's care.
A Celebration of Perry's Life with full Military Honors will be held at Bunkers Tribute Golf Course, 1001 Golf Club Road, Wausau, WI 54403 on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Visitation will be held 11 am until the time of service at 2 pm.
