Phyllis Durig Funeral Service Video

Phyllis A. Durig, age 65 of New London, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.  Phyllis was born on December 8, 1959 in New London to the late Clarence and Maryann (Davis) Gabrielson.  She married Steven Durig on September 27, 2003.  Phyllis enjoyed fishing, being out in the sun and riding motorcycle.  She could be found barefoot in the summertime!  Other favorite pastimes included playing cribbage and pool, cooking, baking and feeding the squirrels and watching them from the living room couch.  One of her favorite things to do was to travel with Steve and her family.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Steve; son, Jeremy Lederhaus; sister, Sue (Dan) Mason and nephew, Shane Balthazor.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents.

The Funeral Service for Phyllis will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating.  The visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the service.  Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery, New London.
