Prudence A. Fletcher, age 76, New London, passed away on February 14, 2023. She was born on October 2, 1946 in New London, the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Sawall) Restle. On December 15, 1977, Prudence was united in marriage to the love of her life, Steven Fletcher. He preceded her in death in 2015.

Prudence was a waitress at Bucky's Restaurant for many years and absolutely loved all the friendships she made there throughout the years. Prudy enjoyed watching Packer games, putting together puzzles, spending time with her dog Molly, and visiting with her friends over a good cup of coffee at Bucky's.

Prudence is survived by her daughter Kristin (Jeff) Shaw; her two grandchildren, who meant the world to her, Guy Barrington and Brylee Barrington and her sister-in-law, Marilyn (Gene) Henry.

In addition to her husband and parents, Prudence was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Anne Gerdin and two brothers-in-law, Leon and Terry Fletcher.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 18 ^th , 2023 at First Congregational United Church of Christ in New London with Rev. Steve Savides officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:00am until the time of service. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery in New London at a later date.
