Richard's Memorial Service Video Link

Richard L. Baron, age 92, of New London, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Richard was born on September 24, 1933 to the late Charles and Anna (Younger) Baron. He served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Medic in the Korean War and he married Karen Nelson Baron on October 29, 1955.

Richard was a Master Mechanic by trade. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a jokester, and he enjoyed going to the corner bar mingling with friends.

Richard is survived by his sons, Gary (Lynne) and James (Lynn); grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Geri Mattson and Carol Salo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Anna; his wife Karen, daughter, Mary Lynn, son Daniel; sisters, Elaine, Joyce, Florence, and Teresa; and brothers, Charles (Sonny) Baron and John (Jack) Baron.

The Memorial Service for Richard will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church in New London, with Pastor Chuck Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
