Robert Larson's Funeral Service Video Robert James Larson "Grandpa", age 86, originally of Hortonville and Readfield, passed away at his Appleton residence on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.  Robert was born on February 16, 1936, in Oshkosh to the late Horace and Rose (Stockinger) Larson.  He served his country in the US Navy.  Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, reading, farming and watching all types of sports.

Robert is survived by his children, Jennie Baha and Susan Moderson; grandchildren, Saeed and Sadie Baha, Mark and Sam Moderson and Billy Freeman; the mother of his children, Doris Larson; great-grandchildren, Savanah Mischler Baha, Maya Mischler and Brooklyn Loberger Baha and brother, Edward (Marla) Larson.  He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and especially friends from Oneida Heights and the Laird and Kinney families.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Ann Freeman; son, Russ Larson and long-time friend, Lee Kinny.

The funeral for Robert will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating.  Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial with full military honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022 at Ellington Union Cemetery, Town of Ellington. Saeed and Sadie Baha, Mark and Sam Moderson and Billy Freeman as pallbearers.
