Bob's Memorial Service Video Link

Robert John Truesdale, of New London, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at the age of 67 years. Robert was born on February 28, 1959 in New London, WI to the late Vernon and Ruth (Kiser) Truesdale.

After graduating from New London High School in 1977, Robert worked on a farm for 1½ years before working at Automotive Supply Co. for the next 45 years, from which he retired in 2023. He would spend his free time helping out on his friend's farms.

Robert enjoyed doing volunteer work as a Lion, such as, Lions eye bank transporter, and picking up donated medical equipment. In 1998 he joined Medina-Dale-Readfield Lions Club. In 2001 he was voted Lion of the Year for the club. In 2004 he received the Lions Melvin Jones Fellowship Award for Dedicated Humanitarian Services.

Robert is survived by his brothers, Charlie Truesdale (Marsha) of New London, WI and Mike Truesdale (Edie) of Appleton, WI; nephews, Jeff Truesdale (Sherry) of Wild Rose, WI, John Truesdale (Abby) of Jasper, IN, Matt Truesdale of Jasper, IN, Steve Truesdale (Jennifer) of Ohio, Ben Truesdale (Carla) of Fort Wayne, IN, and Joe Truesdale (Amy) of Oshkosh, WI; nieces, Cristie Bachmann (Andy) of IN, Becky Young of Appleton, WI, and Elizabeth McReynolds (Joe) of Alberton, MT.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Ruth; his brothers, Don, Jim, and Tom; his sister, Debbie Truesdale; and his nephew, Todd Truesdale.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London, Wisconsin with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating. The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

A Memorial Fund has been established for the Medina-Dale-Readfield Lions Club.
