Rollin J. "Jim" Tews, age 89 of New London passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024.  Jim was born on April 18, 1934 in Readfield to the late Lawrence and Frieda (Fuhrmann) Tews.  He married Diana Thomas on July 9, 1955 at Zion Lutheran Church in Readfield. Jim was a U.S. Army veteran and he worked at P.H. Glatfelter Paper Mill in Neenah, retiring as a Mill Superintendent, working there for over 40 years.  Jim stayed active in his free time; golfing, doing yard work and snowmobiling were among the things that kept him busy.  He enjoyed nothing more than time spent with family, especially his grandkids or the little ones, as he would say.  Jim was a Packers, Bucks, Brewers and big Nascar fan!

Jim is survived by his wife, Diana; children, Jeffrey (Laura) Tews, Jamie (Lynn) Tews and Scott (special friend, Tammy) Tews;  grandchildren, Jordan (Jen) Tews, Baily (Spencer) Scott, Elliott Tews and Hailee Tews and great-grandchildren, Carter, Maddie, Riley, Avren, Elena and Cecilia.  He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Anna (Tews) Denardo; brother, Lyle Tews and sister, Lois Hoewisch.

The Memorial Service for Jim will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at United Methodist Church in New London with Rev. Joyce Rich officiating.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
