A Celebration of Ron's life will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at American Legion Hall in New London. Military Honors will take place at 1:00 p.m.
Ronald "Ron" Otis Gagnow, age 75 of New London, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2024 at ThedaCare Appleton following a brief illness. Ron was born on September 18, 1948 to the late Carl and Nona (Otis) Gagnow. He was united in marriage to Cherine Baross on July 18, 1970. Ronald served his country in the US Air Force from 1968 to 1972 and was very involved in the American Legion and AmVets. He enjoyed studying genealogy. Ron loved being involved with his community. His family meant the world to him. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed golfing.
Ron is survived by his wife, Cherine; children, Theresa (Darrin) Phillips, Sonya (Jamie) Bleier, Carl (Jami) Gagnow and Raina (Ron) Fryer; grandchildren, Keri Gagnow, Erin Gagnow, Jordan Fryer and Hannah Fryer and his siblings, Carla Arndt, Robert (Lora) Gagnow, Faye (Mike) Egan, Janice Stephens, Richard (Kathleen) Gagnow, Pam (Bob) Lewin, Renee (Mark) Wilber and Rodger Gagnow.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Jamie and brother-in-law, Russell Arndt.
