Ronald Joseph Haines age 81 of Manawa, WI, sadly passed away after a short illness on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Ronald was born April 13, 1942 to the late Roland and Ann (Spetcher) Haines. As a young boy, "Ron", as he preferred to be called lived in southern Wisconsin until he moved with his parents to Wittenburg, WI where he and his younger sister Gloria (Haines) Tishhouser helped run a small tavern.

Ron met the love of his life Janice Redman in High School, were united in marriage in November of 1960, and stayed married for over 50 years. Together they had four children; Rhonda Grajewski; Brenda Haines, Sandra Lund, and Christopher Haines.

Ron is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ron enjoyed bowling, hunting, golfing, and had a great passion for gardening both vegetables and flowers. He loved to sit on his swing in later years speaking wisdom and sharing memories with friends, neighbors, and family.

A Celebration of Life is tentatively planned for July 2024, the weekend of the Lions Club Rodeo at his residence in Manawa, WI.
