Ronald Meek's Graveside Service Video

Ronald C. Meek, age 87 of Sobieski, WI passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 in Green Bay.  Ronald was born on January 29, 1936 in Cambridge, MA to the late Edwin and Ruth (Houghton) Meek.  He married Kay Klingert on August 29, 1975 in Kansas City, MO.  Ron served his country in the US Navy, as an aerographer meteorologist in numerous locations and spent his final years of service in Antarctica, providing leadership and support in the US Navy "Winter Over" Program, subsequently retiring in 1974. He joined the National Weather Service in 1974 and retired in 1991.

Ron is survived by his wife, Kay; children, Kathryn "Amy" (Aaron) Knuth and Kenneth (Pam) Meek; grandchildren, Ethan Reed, Evan Knuth and Kale Knuth and his brother, David (Judith) Meek.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents.

The graveside service for Ron will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Most Precious Blood Cemetery, New London.  Friends and family can pay their respects at the cemetery from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.  Full military honors will be held.
