Ronald "Ron" Paul Matyas, age 70, of New London, Wisconsin, passed away at home on Monday, November 13, 2023. Ron was born in Ashland, Wisconsin on April 29, 1953 to the late John and Helen (Faliski) Matyas.

Ron worked at Hillshire for over 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed hiking, camping, gardening, shooting pool, and brewing his own beer. He was a lifelong Brewer fan. Most of all, Ron loved spending time with family, and even his grand dog, Chuey.

Ron is survived by his children, Angela (Scott) Krug, Felicia (significant other, Scott Gardner) Matyas, and Paul Matyas. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Dalton, Tricia, Christian, Lucas, and Dylan; along with his six brothers, Mike, Tom, Jim, Tim, Dennis, and Ken; and his sister, Mary.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen; sisters, Susan and Barbara; and his brother Richard.

The Funeral Service for Ron will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
